Eulalie Charland’s musical journey began in Paris, studying under Catherine Courtois, and continued in Indiana with renowned violin pedagogue Mauricio Fuks. Her studies also took her to Bucharest with Stefan Gheorghiu, and later to the Royal College of Music, London, where she earned her Bachelor and Master of Music degrees with distinction, under Yossi Zivoni. Having lived in countries like Canada, France, Finland, Italy, Romania, and the US, Charland eventually made London her home. She is a recipient of numerous prestigious awards, including the Lydia Napper Award and the Countess of Munster Musical Trust. A passionate chamber musician, Charland is known for her collaborations with contemporary composers and her exploration of diverse musical genres. She currently teaches at the Junior Guildhall School of Music and Drama and plays a violin crafted by Stefan von Baehr in 2015.
